Hello, my name is Edmund Slimmon and I am currently doing my MSc in Marketing at the University of Exeter. I completed my undergraduate degree in International Relations here as well, so this is my fourth year in Exeter.

I decided to make the switch away from a more politically focused course to one in marketing down to my desire of perusing a career in marketing when I graduate. So far, the modules I have done I have thoroughly enjoyed, and I think that Digital Business Models will be similar in that regard. I’m hoping to gain more insight into the realm of Digital Business Models and the impact it has on businesses, hopefully then be able to apply this knowledge into practice when I am employed.

I haven’t had any experience with online learning or blog writing before, but I am very interested in learning about these different methods of learning.

Outside of studying, I would say that my favourite past time would snowboarding or any other board sports. I guess my interest in these activities started from 12 when I first learnt how to skateboard and it only grew from there.
